The phallic symbol in both Romani and Earth Rome, which follow a similar reality stream (see Ecadian Chronicles: Prologue) was a symbol of protection and plenty. A symbol of Mercury, the Roman messenger god, a phallic charm was often given to Earth children on a journey to keep them safe. This man’s wife will probably hang it in her garden to ensure a bountiful crop.

At least, we HOPE that’s what she’s going to use it for. You can never trust a Roman.
