*it’s not really biscotti. It’s a hard, crispy biscuit made with a dense multi-grain flour from cereals growing in greenhouses in the caves. The sugar comes from a variety of sweet potatoes native to the region. The goblins of the Uksheemy Underground, as they call it, have figured out how to grow cacao pods on a bit of flannel, and nuts on bushes. Goblins are not like dwarfs, they can’t live on rat and ale alone, so they developed agricultural techniques that work for underground environments.
