Sorry for the late update, guys. Webhost went down this morning, but they cleared it up quickly fortunately. Also if you want to help us out, leave a small tip with Tulip over on the side bar. And if you can’t afford it, that’s understandable; there are lots of other ways to show your support. Retweet, reblog, share on your FB or tumblr accounts, or even just push the “like” button. You’d be amazed at how much that stuff helps.

point… big roman thing to hire a wet nurse

    • Ah! Very observant. There’s a story behind her which we haven’t gotten to yet! I wasn’t going to get there until book 2, but, whatevs…

Lavinia, Lysander’s mother, is part dwarfish. She wanted her son to be raised in the traditional dwarfen fashion so he would avoid the corruption of the Roman court. (Hence lack of wet nurse and sending him away to live with dwarfs in his childhood.) But after eleven years his father called him back home and put him in a military academy. He has been a soldier or officer ever since.

Now you all know more than you ever wanted to know!
